    Default Capital Allowance??

    Hi

Hoping someone can help me please.

I bought a climbing frame last summer that cost £999. I have 2 questions re this expense:
    1) Can I claim 100% of this even though my kids use it as I would not have bought it at all if I wasn't childminding?
    2) Does it go through with my normal expenses or as a Capital Allowance? If the latter do I claim full amount in the 14/15 year or do you claim over several years?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

I found out about capital allowances in a recent HMRC webinar - http://www.childmindinghelp.co.uk/fo...r-06-2013.html

However, if you are in any doubt about what to do the best thing is to talk to HMRC about your individual circumstances.
