    Default HEATING AND LIGHTING CLAIM

    Hi guys,
Just about finished my tax on line, just wanted to clarify, I pay direct debit for electricity, partner dd for gas monthly, during the tax year I worked 15 hours a week, how do you work out what you have to claim? do you

add up the twelve months for gas and electricity and multiply by the 12% as stated in hmrc website?

Yes just follow the percentages in the HMRC download - it's in files at the top of the forum
