    Default question........

If I have to contract out a piece of work to another cm because I don't collect from that school can I put the cost through my books...

I mean if I pay the cm for that piece of work...

what if the child is my own daughter!

my dd is not going to the local school not ever ever ever!!

I won't be able to collect her till I finish work as unsure on the number of seats as we may be getting a smaller car...

can I claim the costs of sending her to a childminder as if I would not be working and collecting from the local school then I could collect her myself...

    tough one!

I don't think you can claim any expenses relating to your own child!
If you were going to pic up children from school and it just happens to be the same school your child attends then travel expenses can be claimed.
    Thats how I understand it.

    thanks guys

if DH is still working full time then we wont get tax credits for childcare...

think seeing as I am now down a couple of kids to potentially no afterschoolers it means no newer faster smaller car for DH so it means him dropping to part time and then using tax credits to top our combined wages up
