    Default Account question 1

Until March I was contracted to work 21 hours so working out how much I could clam for council tax and electricity was simple.
About 3 weeks ago I signed up a new mindee but he is on an ad-hoc contract so he's not here for a set number of hours each week. Does this mean that at the end of each month I should add up how many hours I've worked to work out how much I should claim? Thanks for your help Hx

I have a similar thing as I have a shift worker. Yes you need to work out either monthly or weekly the amount of hours and how much you can claim. I do it weekly as this suits me. I have worked out 1% of each of water/oil/elec/council tax cost a week and have this in my diary. I then just time is by the % amount I can claim for due to hours worked.
