Online Tax Returns

Hi everyone,

I am happy to say I have just submitted my very first online tax return

It was alot easier than I thought it was going to be

Me too! I printed out what I think was the paper version, which looked hard as nails! The decided to try the online one and it was so straight forward, I'm glad I tried it.

And an email today to say it has been received, brilliant.

i cant get logged on to do it and when i phoned their computors were done
really want to get it sorted before i stop working

Thats got me worried - thought I had sent mine ages ago- but have never received an e mail from them! will investigate tomorrow!

When you lodge online you get a submission report and number. Log back in again and it will show you the number on the page and then say if you have submitted or not.

I did DH last week and received the refund in the bank 2 days later so they are quick

Maybe I did something wrong, but when I logged back in (after an extensive search for the relevant paperwork) it told me I was due a rebate and asked if I wanted to apply for it

Have now done so - hope it is quick!
