    Default Tax Return???

    Hi,

I have noticed a lot of you are completing your tax returns. I registered as self imployed in October and dont know what I have to do when.

It is on my list of things to do (look into what I have to do and when) but was worried as I saw a lot of your questions and worried I might have to do it right now?

I think most of us have received a letter from HMRC telling us to either fill in a return (which would have been in the letter) or submit it on line.

If you haven't received such a letter, give HMRC a call and ask them to send out a form, or just log onto the website and submit your return. You need log in / password details for this though.

It goes without saying that before you can actually submit your return you need to have got all your accounts up to date and figures tallied up.

For some of us, this is the hardest bit

I only just received mine this week. Don't panic if you haven't had one yet.
