Default Question about deduction for benefit purposes

Hi All, I'm wondering.... I was told that for benefit purposes 2 3rds of your childminding income is taken off, would you then deduct your expenses afterwards? Many Thanks

    Hi :-),
Assuming you mean for housing benefit etc? You give them your full income, they count two thirds of it as expenses and the bit left over as your actual income for calculating any benefit etc

    Hope this helps
