tax payment reminder?

Hello!

I am sure I've asked this before, but I can't find the answer - although my 'search' skills are not very good!

I've finally filed my tax return for 14-15 and have just paid the tax/NI. I also had to pay some on account for next year. its been a long time since I've paid 'on account' - do I get a reminder next july that I need to pay the other half?

I'm hoping that next year, I will manage to file my tax much sooner and won't then have to pay nearly as much !!!! ( although, I do like the getting the money back! )

Yes they send a bill for you to pay.
