Help this wont open up for me
For council tax and water rates you take the figure for the whole year (but you generally only pay it over 10 months), eg: council tax bill is £1200 for year then divide it by 12 amount each month is £100 and enter that figure on the spreadsheet - when you enter the number of hours each week you work, the spreadsheet will work out the % you are entitled to claim.
For gas and electricity just enter in the amount you pay each month and again the spreadsheet will work out the % for you.
Hi, i have noticed that both may and june have junes dates in so i have changed it, the problem is that when i input my hours of work it isnt adding up right :panic:
The calculator is giving me one figure and the spread sheet a lower figure, i haven't used a spread sheet before and wondered if there is a reason for this that im not aware of? I cant continue until im sure im doing it right :(
