please help me to understand, i know i need to join/register with the ico to be able to take and store photos and information, im not quite sure why, for example are we just registering to promise to keep information safe, are we getting some sort of service for our £35, or is it just one of those things we need to do that we dont get anything in return for, any replies gratefully recieved, have just finished the first week minding and it went really well and we loved it!!!!!!

According to ICO it is a requirement that we are registered with them as a data handler.

In return we get a certificate which says we are registered with them and peace of mind
