Fun at Knutsford Childminding!

Rating: 2 votes, 5.00 average.
Last week Knutsford Childminding welcomed a very special visitor - a bear called Archie who travelled all the way from Kent to stay with us!

Archie was a good bear - he behaved well and was very polite and well mannered. The children remembered to brush his teeth and fur every night before bedtime.

Archie joined in with all our activities including coming with us to feed the ducks, visiting the park, engaging in some risky tree climbing play, lots of den building, messy play (we had to wash his paws!) and singing time - which was his favourite.

He also sent a postcard home to his family to let them know he was having a good time - which they said they enjoyed receiving.

Some of the children brought their bears from home to meet Archie and we organised a special story time reading lots of different bear books before having a little teddy bears picnic for them with honey cakes which the children helped to make.

Archie has to go home tomorrow and we will all miss him. We are sure he will have lots of memories to take back with him in his special diary!

Bye bye Archie, thank you for visiting us!
