  1. end of week 1

    well, everyone has enjoyed the playroom. schoolies looked in the cupboards and said "WOW! you do have alot of toys!"

    LOs have explored the sensory tray, doing some lovely sorting, weighing & measuring. the schoolies turned it into a chocolate factory!

    the train track has been all over the floor, the mat has been the sea & we've been fish swimming in it, and we've rowed on it, looking out for that crocodile - then screaming with delight!

  2. handmade christmas continued.

    So dh had to have the turning of the dining room into a winter wonderland pointed out to him. I took this to be a sign I need more decorations.

    So another browsing session on pinterest (did I mention I was slightly addicted) and I found this lady.

  3. Christmas starts tomorrow...

    Well tomorrow it's officially the start of the Christmas period in my house - it's not allowed before 1st December. I haven't bought a single present, written a card or anything but decided today that the mindees should start some decorations. Lets make some Christmas decorations I said happily. Stoney faces looked back at me. "We playing with the scarves" the general reply. Ok then, planning out the window yet again......

  4. Christmas planning

    Christmas alphabet wall is nearly finished, just need something for the letters Q and Z so any ideas would be welcomed.

    Started to get recipes together for Xmas cakes, biscuits etc and have just ordered more Xmas craft things. I must admit we are starting to feel a bit christmasy now

  5. Please HELP!!! What do people do about fees when children are sick?

    Evening all

    This should be relatively simple, I have a policy and the parent in question has had a copy but I'm still getting problems.
    I state in the policy and on contracts that when parents have sick children (i.e. vomiting) they should be off for 48 hours, well the parent took my advice and has called me 24 hours before bringing the child in the hope that she will not have to pay. But i didn't take the lead and say anything.

    She then texts later ...
