Keeping In Touch days

*I haven't put this in the Babies section because I thought I'd get more response here from people who've already been on maternity leave - but please move it if you feel it needs to be there instead!!*


I'm just wondering if anyone used their 10 Keeping In Touch days to continue minding whilst on maternity leave?

Ie. could I take 14 weeks maternity leave and have 1 of my mindees 1 day a week for the last 10 weeks, if it means I get to keep them on?

I haven't done this, but was planning/considering doing it in the future. As far as I could see it is allowed - but you have to inform someone (I can't remember who - possibly whoever you claim the Mat pay from) each day you work.
