So after the first meeting on Friday, 4 follow up phones calls and 3 e-mails, I recieved a call today to say that the family would like me to care for their lo.
They would like 4 settling in sessions 2 with mum/dad there and 2 on my own.
And also as lo doesn't speak english would I mind learning a few phrases in their home language. I don't mind this as I don't know how I'd cope with a lo who doesn't understand me at all!
But what phrases would you all want to know?

I was thinking things along the lines of are you hungry/thirsty?
Do you want juice?
But what else?
My mind's gone blank!!!:panic:

What about:

- Are you hungry/thirsty?
- Do you need to go to the loo?
- Are you feeling ok?

Hope that helps.
