I'm really confused and wondered if any of you lovelies can answer my question?
Is the revised EYFS in addition to the current EYFS or does it replace it completely?

Hi,

My understanding is that it replaces the existing EYFS but I am sure someone with more knowledge than me will give you chapter and verse soon.

It fully rplaces the current eyfs. (i think :))

In September this year it will replace the current Eyfs. :D

Yep completely replaces it.You can download and print it now-I was told that its only available online and childcarers won't get 'hard' copies.Was advised to keep the old copy of the book with the development and ages in etc for reference.
After reading the new framework, it seems that not a lot has changed!

There is also a new development matters booklet which you will need to use from September 2012. The areas of development have changed and also the aspects so I don't think the old one will be much use to you.

...did'nt know about this one-it was one of our Early years team who told us to keep the old one-shows how much they know!
