Of my new mindee who doesn't speak English.

He arrived an hour ago, was a bit upset as soon as Dad left he came running to me for a hug and he's been fine ever since, however he's punched my daughter twice, kicked my other mindee, and threw a toy at my eldest daughter who is off school sick.

Would anyone like to switch places with me?

I hope it settles down for you. Keep him close to you all the time and don't let him alone with your girls until he is calmer.

So hard when you have one that doesn't speak English. My one(the screamer from hell) has now settled down and is quite happy to play now although doesn't like new things though. I ams ure in time it will be easier. I am still working out strategies.

I have a lo with English as a second language (not that he speaks much anyway at 14 mths) but he too is a little wild. He is calming down (been coming for 7 weeks) but we still have odd days when he hits the other children with and without toys in his hands! Good luck I am sure it will work out for you in the end.
