I have been given a mothers day card today from one of my lo's.

It says "To a wonderful Childminder on mothers day"

Its a lovely thought and I was really touched that she sent it to me BUT what ever next....!!!!!

These card makers are really milking it

I used to get a bunch of flowers and a home made card from one of my LO's. He doesn't come now but last year he still arrived on Mothers day with my flowers. I was very touched.

The parents of a mindee I use to look after always brought me a big bouquet of flowers, chocolates, and a balloon with thankyou on it every mothers day, just to say thanks for all I did.
Mum worked in a high end handbag factory(they supplied handbags to John Lewis) and she would often bring me one, they were gorgeous and worth about £200. I miss them, lol. X
