Hi guys, don't know if anyone is aware but there have been some changes made to the EYFS already. You do not have to do observations but if you want more than a satisfactory then best to do them. But they are not compulsory. Medicine's really pleased about this one this will be staying how it is now, so as long as you have parents permission we will be able to carry on giving calpol etc.
If I hear anymore I will let you know

I didn't know about the obs thing! I don't mind doing them though but it's good to know all the same.

I had session 4 of my EYFS training last week and it was all about obs and how we absolutely must do them?

It is weird but fair enough I guess!

I do my 'Meeting The Requirements Of The EYFS' course on June 12th. Will be interesting to hear what they say, especially after these latest changes.
