Hi
I have made my own play dough for the first time today :clapping: I finally found a recipe that worked for me ha!

Was wondering though how long I should keep it for? And should I keep it in the fridge?

We down loaded the play dough mats with minibeast themes from sparkle box and the kids had great time making legs and spots for the bugs!!

Sounds like fun!

Usually if you keep it in an airtyte (oh my god how do yu=ou spell that word?!?! ) container - some where cool it will last for a few weeks :)

I just keep in wrapped in cling film and it last ages (provided you have made it using cream of tartare)

Yes I have used cream of tartar - I have it in an airtight tub at the mo - was struggling to think of how I was going to fit it in my fridge ha ha!

Won't bother trying

Thanks again x

does anyone know if you HAVE to use cooking oil for playdough or can i use olive oil?
I don`t really fancy buying a big bottle of veg oil just for a couple of tablespoons.

I pinched the recipe from a girl who runs an art class and she used baby oil!

The play dough turned out lovely and soft

I use olive oil in mine and it works just as well.

Air tight container but dont make the mistake i made and leave it on a storage unit next to the radiator....its makes it soggy:)

I wrap mine in clingfilm then put in an airtight container and it lasts for ages.
