HI THERE, has anybody else taken on two assistants before but run it at another house ..ie small nursery, but running as a childminder? Am thinking it would be like opening up my own small nursery but not over the top like a nursery, small,cosy and lots of interaction with kid son a small scale..would OFSTED let me do that being as its not my own home ?

If it is not run in a home so your home or one of the others you cannot be registered as a childminder. You would be a childcarer on non-domestic premises.

so would this mean i couldnt work under childminding rules? only rules like a nursery?
