Oh dear. I wonder if my forum friends can offer some advice. I am in need of an assistant... I had an Apprentice but sadly she has left as we had a falling out! She wasn't doing her course work and when I discussed it with her she said she wanted to to work in a Nursery.

I have an advert on Direct.gov and I've had lots of applications, few of which are worth considering. I've interviewed two people. One was great but has a daughter and I do not have space for her! The second seems to be messing me around with excuses that are currently preventing her from doing a 'working' interview.

So... where would you suggest I advertise?

Or do you know anyone in Surrey who would be interested!:D

Your thoughts would be much appreciated...

Maybe a local newspaper. Some have a special weekly jobs supplement.
Hope you manage to find someone soon

Sounds daft but I hadn't thought about a newspaper. I never buy one!

Thanks:D

I'll come and work with you! :):)

Have you tried your local college? They might have someone almost ready to leave who is interested in walking straight into a job.

:D

Yipeee my search is over...

If only you could!

I could try the colleges. I have had one girl approach me looking for a work placement. I just wasn't sure of her literacy skills :(
