hello everyone

i am new to this site and would like information on becoming a childminder . I have filled most of the OFSTED forms out but before sending it back do i have to go on a registration course? what is it called ?

hope someone can advise and put me on the right road

You will need to do a pre-registration course run by your local authority so you need to give them a ring and find out the dates.

You also need a 12 hour paed first aid course which your LA should organise for you.

Ofsted won't want to see you (not normally anyway) until all the courses are done.
