Im trying to fill my SEF in im up to section 3 writting about how i meet the 5 every child matters outcomes

the guidance states that they are

 Achieve and enjoy
 Feel safe
 Adopt healthy lifestyles
 Make a positive contribution
 Develop skills for the future.


Am I following the wrong framework as ive been following the every child matters outcomes as

1. Staying safe
2. Being healthy
3. Enjoying and achieving
4. Making a positive contribution
5. Achieving economic wellbeing

Are they the same thing just worded diffrently??

Will this affect my SEF??

Ofsted changed the focus of the ECM outcomes for the purpose of the SEF.

So instead of saying ... to keep children healthy we wash hands, put tissues in a lidded bin, clean floors etc.

You need to say how what you do improves outcomes for the children.

To support children with learning about healthy lifestyles we... do x, y and z. This improves outcomes because children remember what they have learned, take their learning home, become independent and competent with hand washing etc.
