Hi. I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find the thread. Can Childminders counter sign a passport application?

I hope so because my childminder friend has just signed my children's ones. The post office have checked and accepted them so fingers crossed.

Linda.

I'm curious to read the document that stipulates this criterion for CM's?

Do you have a like you could share?

My childminder friend hasn't got a degree, so I wonder if her signature will be rejected.

I'd heard you can do it if you have a degree before too, but no idea why this would make you an acceptable person...

I must have signed about 20 over the last 5 years and have never once had a single phone call from the passport office.
