I'd like to get a marble run. Can anyone recommend an interesting one or maybe a not too pricey wooden one?

I have the plastic elc one which the kids love but I'm sure I saw a wooden one in Lidl or Aldi recently.

we have the plastic elc one, which is great, but pieces can be easily broken by heavy handed children

i tend to buy sets when i see them in charity shops/car boots so we have lots of pieces :D

i also have a wooden one an old mindee gave me, its good, but needs lots of thought about construction and careful balancing! could also do with a few more pieces!

We have marble run and the older children love it but it drives me nuts that they leave marbles everywhere and I have to be so vigilant to make sure the babies don't get hold of them. Same with Lego and magnetix actually. I would give notice to the older kids - trouble is they are mine!

we have loads of plstic marble run. The mindees spend ages running the marbles down it.

We got ours for about a fiver from a Facebook local selling group.
