My five year old girl mindees are really into making, I bought some little sets from tesco, jewellery, keyrings, badges that sort of thing. They like dot to dot and colouring books. Tea sets with water in, rice in a tray with different size containers, plastecine, playdoh or pastry. Being in charge! Set her a task to do like build a castle from the bricks and I'll come and look.
