Hi ladies (&gents),

I hope you have all had a fab half term. :D

I had my first settling-in session today with my new mindee, hes a boy (10months), to be honest i havent really got any toys for him to play with  all of my current mindees are 2 and above.

Mum said at home he likes to play with anything that isnt a toy  but what toys can i get quickly over the weekend so hes got some bits to play with on Monday?

Im going to set up a tresure basket of metal bits and bobs.

Thank you in advance.

A treasure basket is the best idea. You can put in wooden spoons, metal spoons, bits of fabric, big wooden curtain rings, wooden egg cups etc.

Other than that, stacking cups (that you can build up & he can knock over!), soft toys, musical instruments.

My 9mnth old mindee will play with anything. I just watch everything is safe for him to put in gis moouth & chew. He likes holding the HappyLand people, toy animals, play food etc.
