I'm looking for a medium to big sized bundles of wooden toys, like wooden eggs, cotton reels, hoops, pegs etc.

Can anyone point me in some? I can't find any that are reasonably priced

There's loads on e-bay for a couple of pound for a few of each. :)

I've bought a lot of my wooden toys from carboot sales. They are often very cheap as they are not very popular! Everyone wants to buy the latest plastic toys & overlook the lovely wooden things.

Also, don't limit your hunt to looking for wooden toys. Look round kitchen departments & you'll find all sorts of wooden nicknacks. I've got a few things that I don't even know what they are, but they go down a storm in the treasure basket!

I have used my metal measuring cups and spoons, my whisk, I have a metal egg holder for dippy eggs too that I've used, and silicone pastry brush which the kids love!

There's a new toy library just opened up so I'm having a nosey there tomorrow to see what they have before I order anything

You can get some good stuff in a habedashery store too.

And definitely try good kitchen shops!

there's wooden eggs (http://www.woodworkscraftsupplies.co.uk/index.php?cPath=71_35) and people (http://www.woodworkscraftsupplies.co.uk/index.php?cPath=22_121) on this site that seem cheap.
I've had the page bookmarked cos been wanting to make these gnomes (http://weefolkart.com/?q=node/187) with the wooden people but haven't got round to ordering any yet.

Millwood education do some lovely wooden toys but they are a bit pricey.

Good for ideas though
