Ive got some one who had here hours changed to what she is contracted to me. due to the fact she is a carer and was doing 7am -8.30pm had problems with person she was looking after and refused to go back. now her hours have changed as she is contracted to do 30 but they are not giving her the hours last week I had him tues 11.45-4.45 wed 9.4.45 and thurs.1.30-9 she only worked thursday. do I still charge her what she is contracted to me or the hours I had him. I will be loosing out by £70. She is getting tax credit.

You should go by whatever is in your contract.

If Mum needs to change them she will need to speak to you about it and ask you if you can agree to new contracted hours. Until then I would be charging full. Its not your fault or your problem that her employers are messing her about after all.

If its a while before you invoice her/charges are due I would probably just mention it to her in a 'Oh dear I really hope you work something out with work soon, because I will still need to charge you for contracted hours? ' kind of way...
