How much do you charge?

i've had an enquiry to babysit on a saturday night and i'm tempted to do it.

yes i do, i charge £6 per hour before 12 and £10 per hour after midnight :) little extra pocket money x

hi hun ... well it depends who it is and if you know them well/ what hrs etc

my mum was my assistant and worked for a single dad as he was at college
she charged babysitting at £20 a night and he came home at 9.20pm ish

although she did babysit for friends and they didnt come home till gone 2am next morning and she got £25/£30

is it going to be every wkend? or a one off?

but dont be a mug hun they could not go out or do what they are doing if some 1 didnt look after their LO's....

a one off i would say about £20

oh and how good are the LO's after one night not wanting to go bed and running you raggid would you want to do it every wkend ?

Its just a one off. I have only met the people once - i gave them a few ducks! They remembered me saying I was a cm and have asked if i can help.

It would be a 10 mile round trip so i would need to factor that in.
it might lead to more babysitting though.

Not sure i can be bothered for £20!

I babysit regularly, in fact I've just got in now! I do it independently and also work via a Babysitting agency that only employs childcare workers. When I do a job for them I get £6.10 an hour and when I find the job myself then I charge £6 . It can be a nice easy way to earn some extra, and I'm sometimes out 2 or 3 times a week.
