Washing my Little Nipper

My Little Nipper is looking a bit grubby and I'm tempted to unscrew the covers and put it in the washing machine on a gently wash.

Before I embark on this..

Has anyone else unscrewed the Nipper Out n About cover and washed it?

Did it go back together ok?

What about the metal bits inside the seatbacks?

I would not have thought of doing that, thanks.

Don't like the idea of unscrewing everything either, knowing my luck it would never go back together properly.
