how much do you all take into account for your bills for expences

I take take £100 a month for

rent
council tax
gas
electric
water
and phone

Is there anything else i should be taking into account

There is a set % you can claim and it depends on your bills.

My Council tax 10% is £148 for the year

My Gas/Elec 33% is £750 for the year

Water 10% £22

The top three are amounts negotiated with NCMA and Tax on our behalf and vary according to the number of hours you work per week. I work over 40 hours so claim the largest % There is a list of the expenses you can claim in the Free Downloads section of the Forum

Phone/internet/TV/mobile 50% £400 that is the % my accountant and i worked out I use.

You need to apply your bills according to the % you are allowed for the hours you work. Not just a guessed amount that 'looks' right. There is a % you can claim for you rent as well. I suspect that might take your figure over the amount you have suggested you claim.
