View Full Version : 48 or 72 hours after D and V?

Hi, updating my sick child policy. My DO says not to return for 48 hours after diarhhea and vomiting but my school mum says its 72 hours...

anyone know?

It's usually 48 hours after last incident of sickness etc.

I have 48 hours but most schools seem to have 24 hours these days.

Mine is 24hrs but the school has just updated there sickness policy and it's now 12hrs for D&V. X

its 48hrs after last bout of d.v thats hopeing parents are honest same for nurserys,schools here

HPA state 48hrs, however places with vunerable people i.e elderly care homes, special baby units, often state 72hrs.

Its 24hrs for sickness & 48 for D&V

Thanks, just checked mine and it says 24 hours so will get it changed.
