Hi all

Following on from my stuttering post (2yo male mindee) and receiving lots of great comments/advice, I'm now wondering how to approach his parents about my concerns. I want to say something as I don't want them to ask me further down the line why I didn't pick up on it, but I don't want to worry(?) them either. Should I just mention it in passing, should I monitor him and then produce a load of paperwork to that effect for them to read through...?

what would you do?

Thanks all.

I would just mention it to parents and then go from there, see what they say. I wouldnt bombard them with a load of paperwork and written obs as that might be a bit too full on, I would take it slowly.

Good luck xx

In situations like that I tend to write something about 'advice for parents on xx' and give it to them.

I usually say I came across it when I was looking for info for myself and wondered if they would find it useful.

Hth :D

i would mention it verbally and mention giving time to finish talking without prompting or encouragement.

Then I would just record the conversation.
