Hi, do I need to have been inspected to register for the voucher scheme? I have had an enquiry from a parent who has asked if I accept them, but am overdue my first Ofsted inspection. Any advice appreciated.

do you mean childcare vouchers or the nursery education grant hon??
childare vouchers no- you are fine.
nursery education grant - you'd need to be accredited or part of a network and they will usually accept your last ofsted grading to accept you onto the network (but there is usually a raft of other evidence and paperwork to go with it!) :laughing:

No just the ordinary bogstandard childcare vouchers as it's a two year old (nearly).

You should have no problems then - you just need your URN - sometimes they ask for a copy of the certificate, sometimes just your number. Very easy to set up.

i just had to send a copy of the ofsted certificate.
