View Full Version : How far in advance can you apply for a variation?

Hi,
I currently mind a 2y old girl who has had a baby sister, the sister will be starting with me in may any two days a week. But one day a week i will be over my numbers by 1.
I am going to apply for a variation and as it does not start till may how far in advance can i apply for a variation.

You can apply now as it states on the form the date you want it to start from. It can also take up to 4 weeks for a variation to be granted so id give it as much time as possible x

Once when I applied for a variation I was told Ofsted needed 12 weeks to process it :rolleyes: I suppose it depends how busy they are but as you know you will need one then you might as well apply now and get it sorted.
