How do you manage transporting three under 3's? I have a double buggy but am not confident on using a buggy board with a 16m old.

It's only that once or twice a week I need to take all 3 children to collect other children from school?

I find that triple buggies are going for like £200!!

I don't take on more than I can get around without difficulty  no more than 2 non walkers. As I don't drive there is often a longish walk or buses to get about :)

Same here, 1 double buggy and 2 confident walkers.

Would the youngest be able to go in a sling?? Or how about a back carrier?

I like the triple buggie, but they are very expensive, although the best place to look is Ebay x

Is the smallest small enough to go in a sling/babycarrier on your back? I often carry under-two year olds in various slings and with the right kind of sling it can be fine. I prefer a mei-tai or a Patapum on my back. As it is only a couple of times a week a good sling is significantly less of an expense than a triple buggy.

My ABC Triple cost me a fortune 2nd hand off e-bay but it has been so worth the money!

How about using a buggy pod? I wouldn't want to use one all the time, but thnk they're good for occasional use

I have 3 under threes. 2 are 2 and a half. One is 16 months. Only once a week we go further than the 2 year olds can walk. When I took on the 16m old I didn't want to give up going to the favourite toddler group, which is too far for them to walk. It's also the one I enjoy most so that was an incentive to sort things out. I bought a Bibi Strolli Comfort+ Now the 16m old goes in the double buggy, (a Nipper Twin), one 2 year old goes on the Strolli Rider and one in the buggy. On the way back the two year olds swap places as they both love riding on the Strolli:)

From 18 months they walk whenever and whereever possible. Currently they have:

1 x 3 yr old
3 x 2 yr olds
1 x 18 mth old

1 x 11mth old in a buggy

I have just discovered this 'pod' and think it might be the solution...I've seen one that attaches to the side which can be folded up when not in use so I wouldn't need to get a triple buggy.

Have you - or anyone else - used a buggy pod and how did you get on with it?

I don't drive, but encourage little ones to walk as much is feasibly possible as soon as they are able.

I have a phil and teds with buggy pod, it was a life saver when children were younger now they are too heavy for me to push all together but are 2x2.5 year old, 1x2year old and 1x18 month (combination of the 4 children) so take turns walking no problems

I have a buggy pod, and have only just stopped using it now as mindees are all almost 2.5 so they are far too heavy for it.

But I loved it, got it for £50 off eBay.

Just be prepared for people to stare at you! :D
