Hi

Just getting my planning done for Chinese New Year (I have 3 x 14/15 months) and was thinking about foods for them to try. Ive ordered some childrens chopsticks , but wondered if I could get them to try any chinese foods.

I thought about Noodles/Rice/Prawn crackers but was unsure about spring rolls etc (dont know why) so wondered what type of foods your lo's will be trying...???

noodles with veggies and a sweet and sour sauce maybe. Dumplings might be nice?

Providing they dont have any allergies I would try them with all sorts. We get loads of chinese food here for NY and all my mindees try everything, usually they love it. Any excuse for me to have some chinese food (my favourite). I'm planning on having a huge banquet lunch that day

Thanks for posting this as I was wondering myself. I'm taking mine into town for a Chinese buffet lunch - I'm so excited! There are a goup of us childminders going along with various parents and children who don't attend that day. What a difficult (and yummy!) risk assessment that was!
