Hand washing for a 10month old??

10mth old feeds himself sandwiches and whatever else mom puts in for him that day... he is now crawling... although my floors are mopped daily and I have a no shoe policy although I do have 2 cats.. I think i should be washing his hands before eating... I'm only atm using a damp clean/personal to child flannel to give his hands a quick wipe??? Is this sufficent enough do you think?? I'm due an inspection lol

I use a small bowl of water for them to swish their hands in....seems to go down well :thumbsup:

I was told that they must be washed under running water... I use a bowl with soapy water and change it for each child as I don't think it is safe to be lifting them up to the tap.

However I am sure wipes and flannels (single use) are fine it will depend on your inspector :D

I do wipes and the inspector said that was fine at my last inspection.

I had a 10 month old at my inspection last year and inspector was happy with wipes - I had taken the 2 yr olds to wash hands in bathroom.
