I'm off to the local parent and toddler group soon and have been asket to bring some colouring sheets or something for the children to do which is braille related with it being world braille day on 4th jan. Any ideas on a craft i can quickly put together or where i can get some printable sheets on the internet?
I have googled but only get the alphabet and its not really printable or the ideas are to difficult for the little ones to do? The children are 4yrs max so neex something they can do or colour.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

See if you can find any packaging in your home with a braille label (Cold remedy etc) Take empty packs along for children to see real braille and copy the dots etc - you could add a safety chat about medicine packs being dangerous items and what a child should do if they found some.....

I did this last year.

On the internet I found a Braile website and copied down how to write our names in Braile.

We then went on to stick sequins where the dots were so that you could feel them with your eyes shut.

The library may have some books in Braile that you could borrow.
If you google Braile colouring sheets, you may find something.

HTH
