Hi everyone hope you all had a good Christmas, sorry if this has been asked before but its been a while since any of my kids turned 16, number 6 child turned 16 today and I wondered what happens now, as I'm sure last time I was sent a form to fill in by Ofsted? does this still happen or do I have to ring them? any help appreciated, thank youxxx

when dd turned 16 ( 2 years ago) Ofsted sent crb form for me/her to fill in. If unsure give them a quick ring :)

I got one automatically for dd.

They sent one for ds to my partner's house

I would give them a ring if I were you :D

It is ofsteds responsibility to get the forms to you as they know the dob of your children. However, I would ask for them, get child registered and use them as an assistant and tax deduction on all those items you pay for

wow I didn't realise you could do that, how do you pay them though? wouldn't you have to sort out tax and NI for them?

They never sent one for my youngest son, had no record of him even though I had been inspected at least a couple of times before he turned 16:eek: so its worth making a phone call!!!

My DD turned 16 back in June. Ofsted sent me a form out automatically, I filled it in and sent it back and it didn't cost me a penny
