ds doesnt break up til next Wednesday , some Secondarys here finish on Friday , primaries Tuesday or Wednesday.

I finish Friday it can't come quick enough .... My minded children school breaks 1.30 Tuesday but my daughers secondary school breaks up on Friday and she is so looking forward to staying in bed (shes up at 6.30am and on the buses for 6.55am):clapping:

This Friday, I then have a week of a few children who attend during the holidays then we finish Friday 23rd and don't open until January 3rd, I am ready for a little break, not had one since June!!!

We break up Tues 20th then go back Mon 9th Jan. Away in Bulgaria Christmas week and not sure what i'm working when i get back.

Ours break up on Friday. Most our parents have to work up to Friday 23rd so we are too. We have booked in for most days and 5 on th wednesday so are having christmas party that day. The last Friday is going to be dvd day :clapping:

Kids finish school next wednesday which i prefer to them finishing this friday. I like them to finish as close to Christmas as possible as they just want it to be Christmas and if they finish too early they dont know what to do with themselves.

Im finished on Wednesday too and have 2 weeks off.:clapping: :jump for joy:

Friday, yippee. No more school run for 2 weeks. I'm finishing next wednesday, have a manic day on Monday and then just 3 little ones Tuesday Wednesday, bliss.

we break up on tuesday, then a houseful for the next 3 days as the local kids club isn't opening (??? !!!). my last day is friday 23rd.

then i'm back to work on tuesday 3rd, but children don't go back to school until monday 9th jan!

LOL! had granny ask me this morning if i could work next monday as LOs been ill and mummy had to stay at home and work are very busy! i said NO, as its the one day a week i don't work, although i go into school as a parent helper.

i didn't then add the following !!! a) DD has a dancing exam that day and no other children can be in the hall. b) its my last day without children to do ANYTHING for christmas, and c) DDs godmother and her DD (who i nannied for 5+ years) are coming in the afternoon to stay the night and spend some time with DD & DS without other children around! ( although they will be here when i am working tuesday and are happy to play with the LOs! )

My son finishes school next Thursday (22nd) at 12pm, I much rather this than finishing this week and having him annoy me for a whole week about how many sleeps to Christmas now :laughing:

He doesn't go back until the 10th Jan so a nice long break :D

Was the 23rd here last year, that was perfect!! It's much better to have plenty time after Christmas so they can play with all their new stuff! And not going back until the 10th gives us plenty time to recover from New Years :laughing:

Our primary school finishes on Tuesday 20th (June and I finish on 22nd) and they were supposed to be going back on Weds 4th, but have added on 3 teacher training days :angry: so they now go back on Monday 9th, great for the kids, but not so good for me as weds, thurs are my busiest days without having the schoolies here all day too :(

My kids finish next Friday at 12 noon(23rd) which is perfect as close to xmas so they dont annoy me going on about Santa for too long lol:laughing:
I finish work that day too but only until the 27th Dec:( but we need the pennies!! :thumbsup:

My mindees break up from school on Friday at 1pm. They go back on the 4th January. I'm on holiday from the 23rd - whoop whoop - but to be honest once the school runs stop that seems like a holiday in itself, lol :)

Ours breaks up tomorrow, which was news to one of my parents :rolleyes: No more school runs till the 4th Jan :clapping: :jump for joy: :clapping: As someone said that is a holiday in itself :clapping:

The school is off to the Pantomime tomorrow morning to see Aladdin with Joe Swash so a lovely end to the week.

Hubby said that after our visitors have gone on Boxing Day the lock is going on the gate and no one is getting in, we are going to relax this holiday :thumbsup: :laughing: Urmmm we'll see as I want painting done :D
