Announcement! Landlord has given me approval!

Yey finally! :jump for joy: My landlord has now granted me permission to operate as a childminder from the property we currently rent! I am so happy :clapping: feel like a weight has been lifted.:jump for joy:

Just have to attend first aid course and safeguarding course then go through Ofsted and hopefully fingers crossed all being well I will be up and running in 2012 :jump for joy: Oh and CRB's etc etc

One question- What can I expect from Ofsted and how can I ensure that my premises are ready before they come out for pre registration visit? Any tips will be greatly appreciated

You should get lots of help for tackling Ofsted from your pre-registration course.

have a nosey round the forums as well.

They will send you a pre-reg booklet to read through and you need to download and intravenously drip the Eyfs statutory and guidance requirements.
