Sorry if this has already been posted but just in case it hasn't. This is about a programme on BBC4 on thursday at 9pm. You will need a box of tissues just reading the article in the above link so I dread to think what the programme will be like. Sounds like must see viewing

Hold Me Tight, Let Me Go will be broadcast on BBC4 on Thursday, May 22, at 9pm
Thanks for posting this. I have tickets for the new Indiana Jones that night so I'll see if it's repeated or I can find it online or something.

Thanks I will record this as Carolyn and I are at our local Childcare Forum Meeting (not as good as this one, nor does it help like this one )

I did a work placement many moons ago in a school that sounds similar to this one... they weren't as enlightened in their approaches then though... :(

I will watch it to see how far we have come in our thinking and to celebrate just how well society now cares for damaged children compared with even 20 years ago... thank you Kate :D

There was an extended article in the Sunday Times magazine the other week re this school...very interesting, but also very sad...these children are a product of their life experiences.:( The positive is that they are being helped...there are many more that aren't:mad:

Wow . Thank god that this school exists. Unfortuatley so many other children will never have this oppotunity . It makes me so mad that some people/parents treat children in such a way they end up in a state like this. Its one of those programmes that i would find interesting but dont think i will watch , not beacause i want to deny it happens but because it will be so frustrating knowing there is nothing i can do. :(
