printer problem

I wondered if anyone could offer any advice - I have an Epson Stylus DX3800 printer which is not printing very well. It's got "lines" going across the whole page as if one colour (yellow) has not come out, if that makes sense.

Go to printer maintenence and clean the heads - the details should come up.

It could be the cartridges need changing, a bit of dust or a clog on the jets

If you have not used it for a while the ink can dry out and clog, in which case you will need to change the cartridges. But first try the maintance buttons, off the top of my head it'll be dirty ink or the head might need aligning (i think that is spelt wrong:o )....look at your manuel or epson online. When it happened to mine (Epson Stylus DX5000) nothing worked and i had to replace it, but it was a couple of years old and get/got used a lot :rolleyes:
