I am having a clear out because I seem to be getting over run with toys and want to get rid of them.

For instance I have a huge bag, like the size of a black biner liner full to bursting with mega blocks and then I have a huge sack of wooden bocks.

How many of each resource do you have?

Depends on how often they get used etc. We've got lots of Lego and matchbox cars - ds' favourites!

Before I clear out I watch the children play for a few weeks and write down what toys they get out and how long they use them.

Then I spend a few more weeks playing with them and showing them how to use different toys to see if I can spark their interest.

Things that are still being ignored, thrown around the room, abused etc get recycled. :D
