can we get grants or free resources

Hi i am in the process of registering and was wondering if we get any grants or free resources as everything costs a lot, i have been buying off ebay and a few new things but dont have lots of money at my disposal any ideas Thanks all Debbie:)

depends on your local early years...My local {caerphilly} have given out quite a few grants since I reg'd (feb 2009).

Just need to contact your local early years to find out.

Does depend on area and whether councils have any money to give grants out. Area I live has given out grants but in last 2 years have warned that they may not be able to do it next year. Neighbouring area individual childminders are less likely to get grants than childminding groups.

I had a start up grant when I registered two years ago and have had a maintenence grant every year since.

Thanks everyone had my development worker here today, she thinks i may not be able to get because the area i am in in north wales have no funding :( will keep looking x
