Is there a more official website that states this? It's just that one of my mums will say its rubbish what they say and her medicine bottles have the old doses on.

Also her almost 5 year old child is tiny...looks like a 3yr old in height and weight.

i have just bought some 6+calpol and thought the doses had changed, but then decided it was because i hadn't bought any for ages and had forgotten!

i've always thought that they ought to put weight guidelines on the bottles rather than ages! i know when DS was in hospital they weighed him to see how much to give him, and as he is little, it was less than i would have been giving him!

And height, my 13 yr old has always been taller and slightly heavier than other boys/children his age.

mine has always been off the scale too! He started having Nurofen for adults younger than it said as he was adult size and weight - only minimum dose though. He is now 15, over 6 foot tall and no idea of weight - last time he told me, over 10 stone!
