Do I need to inform Ofsted

Hi,

I got my registration through in September but have my first mindee starting next week. I thought I was told at pre reg that I needed to inform Ofsted when a mindee starts, but have since been told I don't....I just want to check whether I need to inform them or not?

No you don't.

in due course - roughly 6-9 months after you first are registered Ofsted (well Tribal or Prospects depending on where you are in the country) will contact you to ask if you have any children on roll and that they are a-coming to inspect.
