All I can say it is a very good thing that not available online or I would now be about £100 worse off.

Just moved my plastic one to playhouse / shed in garden and I am looking for something just like this for indoor use

Oh Donkey - I feel like a trip to ikea coming on :panic:

I really really really want this too!

I was just thinking about how growing up 5 min from Ikea makes you feel that you have the right to a Billy (or in this case a Duktig) whenever you feel the urge!

Oooooooooooooo I have wanted one of these since they came out but couldn't justify £89 but that is amazing price!!! I am thinking maybe I will get the bottom bit at £40 now and then the top bit after xmas? How do you tell/ask your OHs about these things?! My current toy kitchen is plastic and second hand and I am worried the plastic is going brittle and it won't last much longer.... Agh! I want it now!

Those of you that have it... did you buy it as the 2 bits or bottom and then added top? Do you think it is as good with just the bottom?

I think the bottom will be just fine on it's own, The top is used, but the bottom far more, some of my littlies cannot reach the top any way. Off to Ikea on Friday as DH gets paid and I need a new high chair, flannels, metal cutlery ooooh and I think I need to buy my DD some crockery for Christmas and much much more :)

Does anybody know, has the price gone down permanently or is it a special offer for a limited time?

wow thats a good price. Go get one I love it and so do my mindees. I paid £100 for mine. I bought both bits as it looked better with the top.

I do not know!!!!!!!!!!

the bottom on its own would be perfectly usuable but I have a 3 and a 4 year old so I bought the top...

you could always add the top at a later date

it could be that they have bulk ordered more from the manufacturer so therefore lower cost?

Oh I wish I could have Mouse - and normally would have risked being late.

But was already late - last mindee left at 6:18pm and I had to find my way to other side of Birmingham (well out of my comfort zone) by 7pm.

And even then I would have risked it - as so want one - BUT I was the guest speaker at the meeting - and I just knew that if set foot in IKEA I would not come back out for at least an hour because of course I would have just had to look at and buy several other things

So now trying to find time this weekend :D

Penny :)
